Find Which Subwoofer

Find Which Subwoofer You Want There are many subwoofers out there, all can do what they are made to do which is make bass. But many produce a different kind of bass and at a different quality.

1
Finding the right subwoofer can be a difficult task. The first thing you should do is to take a piece of paper and a pencil and write down how much you are willing to spend on a subwoofer. (remember to include the price of the box). You might want to include the price of the amplifier you are going to use to as many amps work better with different subwoofers.
2
If you have a lower price range, do some research on crutchfield.com for that price range and then look over the internet to see if crutchfield has the lowest price for the subwoofer you want.
3
If your price is higher and crutchfield doesn't carry that type of sub, then considering looking on a different site that specializes in selling subwoofers or ebay.
4
Once you have found the subwoofer you want, do some research on the manufacturers website for the best type of enclosure and its RMS wattage. Try to find a matching amplifier for the sub based on this RMS wattage.
5
If you want two subwoofers, make sure they are the same type as running two different types of subwoofers can be dangerous for a car audio system. It is pretty in depth to explain it but it just isn't a good idea.
